The Federación Nacional de MatchPoker de Guatemala was born with the purpose of developing the modality of poker as a sport in our country. We know of the great acceptance that poker has in Guatemala, which helps us to support ourselves in the introduction of this sports branch. We seek to help our players to develop their talent and be able to represent Guatemala with pride internationally.
Pablo Meglar, President of the Guatemalan Minifootball Association, has been actively involved in the promotion and development of the disciplines of both minifootball and footgolf in his nation on Guatemala. He has developed football modalities like small sided games (5v5, 6v6, 7v7), organised international events and participated in more than 15 international events.
Pablo understands sports governance and the structure for recognition in his nation and its sporting landscape. He is keen to introduce Match Poker to Guatemala, put together a national team and have his nation compete in global competitions.
