The fifth IFP Congress took place on 25th March 2017 at the Hilton Garden Inn near Heathrow in London, UK. IFP’s member nations in attendance included Austria, Brazil, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Israel, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and UK. National federation representatives were introduced to the new Match Poker software along with a few media personnel on the Friday evening and played a short media tournament to get a better understanding of the system.
The formal IFP Congress session followed on the Saturday morning where the IFP Statutes were amended to adopt the WADA code and IFP president Patrick Nally along with his board were re-elected for another 4 years. After a short lunch break the IFP Presidents Cup was played out on Saturday afternoon with the winning team including Swedish NF Chairman Ulf Engström, Czech Republic NF president Martin Frasko and FIFA representative Nick Lau!

Our national federation members formally approved our statute amendments relating to WADA, and as such IFP is now an official signatory of the WADA code.

The IFP Board was re-elected for a further 4-year term including Patrick as President.
There was a clear urgency expressed by our national members to be able to start running their own Match Poker events, and a tremendous enthusiasm and excitement regarding our software demonstration.

Tata Communications sent representatives to the event as observers while we are working on a collaboration with them.

Oceans, our Chinese partners, have evidenced a readiness to launch Match Poker in China and were in attendance as well.

Extreme interest from the Balkan region and we are looking into planning a Balkan Championship.
All the winners of the weekend!
