Member Nations

At the heart of IFP are its member nations. The IFP consists of National Poker Associations and Federations from around the world with each member federation holding a seat on the Congress of IFP. Currently, IFP has more than 50 members on four continents.

LSPF is IFP’s official Lithuanian member nation. The federation of sports poker (Lithuanian sports poker federation – LSPF) was established on 2010.03.21 by then LSPF president Andrius Tapinas and with help of poker professional Antanas “Tony G” Guoga.
Basic statement is the following: to provide the poker to every adult person as a way of reasonably spend time, and without ANY chances to lose money, enjoying it as as mind sport and game of skill.

The federation consist of 4 formal member associations – Vilniaus sportinio pokerio asociacija, Kauno sportinio pokerio asociacija, Pajūrio pokerio klubas and Nacionalinis sportinio pokerio klubas.

Branches of these members are spread out all over the country (as sports poker clubs) in the major cities – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Marijampolė, Alytus, Telšiai, Mažeikiai, Plungė.

However, if a player wants to participate in LSPF organized events, he/she must become a member of Nacionalinis sportinio pokerio klubas (yearly fee and entry fee – 67EURO).
Now the club has aprox 300 active members, and LSPF organizes 9-12 yearly rating events.
